Feel Rejuvenated
I’ve yet to meet someone who wouldn’t welcome more restful nights! You might have come across various sleep methods or received advice from friends, yet your child still struggles to find peaceful sleep.
As a gentle sleep coach and a postpartum doula, I’ve gained hands-on, real-life experience with infants and children. I assure you that the methods I use are effective and tailored to your child’s unique needs, avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s a timeless, tried-and-true method suitable for children aged 5 months to 6 years. Together, we will explore simple techniques to help your child learn the art of independent sleep.
It’s fascinating to think that we, as adults, now sleep naturally, yet we too had to learn this skill at some point. When our little ones are born, we swaddle them and soothe them in various ways. However, as they reach the 4-month sleep regression and begin to roll over, we often stop these practices without introducing new strategies to assist their sleep.
I assist you in crafting a personalized plan that suits your unique circumstances, always with an open heart and without any judgment. Every family is special, and the needs of its members are equally unique. Each family is unique, and everyone has their own distinct needs. I’ll offer creative ideas and solutions to enhance your postpartum experience.
I’m here to empower, guide, and support you and your partner right from the start, as you start your journey as a family or a growing family.
Sleep is essential
for your child's well-being
Sleep is essential for your child’s well-being, providing a strong foundation for their mental and physical health. If you’re grappling with toddler sleep challenges, know that you’re not alone; many parents face similar situations.
Quality sleep is
superpower
Quality sleep is like their secret superpower, strengthening their immune system, reducing the risk of conditions like Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), and supporting their healthy growth and weight gain.
Sleep goes beyond
nightly rest
Sleep goes beyond nightly rest; it gently nurtures your child’s happiness, supports cognitive growth, and contributes to their overall vitality. Research shows that sleep has a significant impact on your little one’s well-being, from improving alertness and cognitive performance to enhancing resilience, vocabulary, learning, and memory. Even in toddlers, daytime naps help with memory, motor skills, and attention. Sleep also plays a role in their growth, especially during the early months of infancy.
Our Benefit
Remember, as a parent, you need rest too. Extended periods of sleep deprivation can affect your ability to shine in various aspects of life. Quality sleep is a precious gift that allows you to be present and energized.
Let’s focus on improving sleep for your child and yourself, paving the way for a more fulfilling family life and brighter days ahead.
As a gentle sleep coach, my mission is to guide you in teaching your little one to embrace peaceful nap times and uninterrupted overnight sleep without resorting to the “cry it out” method. It’s important to realize that it’s never too early or too late to embark on this journey.
Both you and your little one, along with the entire family, are in need of some much-needed rest. The soothing comfort of a well-structured nap routine during the day can be the cornerstone for cultivating healthy sleep habits for your child. Simultaneously, fostering peaceful overnight sleep is a crucial aspect of this journey, allowing everyone to finally experience the rejuvenating benefits of consistent, restful slumber. Together, we’ll gently guide your family toward the harmonious rest you’ve all been yearning for, both during naps and throughout the night.

In the first five months of your baby’s life, when sleep coaching may not be the right choice, there are plenty of gentle steps you can take. These loving actions help your baby build a foundation of comforting habits and predictable routines, fostering serene nights and tranquil daytime naps.
From birth to 5 months, when your baby is not yet ready for sleep coaching, there is a lot you CAN do to help your baby develop healthy sleep habits, and predictable routines to encourage longer night stretches and good daytime naps.
Joya was a lifesaver for us! Within days our almost 8 month old baby was sleeping for almost 12 hours overnight and in two weeks we had weaned her off dream feeds and had her on a regular nap schedule. I can't recommend Joya's services enough! - Jessica A
